“Eternity. Life is just temporary. We are all flesh and blood that spend a certain time on this planet, and then? What will you do with your life and what will you leave behind?”

– The one who proved us the most that one should never judge a book by it’s cover. An old, homeless looking man eating his chicken salad while reading a book next to the Times Square stairs. My friend insisted that we should ask him while I thought that this man probably would shoo us away and would have nothing meaningful to say. After sitting down with him he shared one of the most interesting speeches I’ve heard to date. He explained that time is precious and one should never prioritize values before desire. It’s about how you keep on living after you die. It’s about how you mark your years on this earth. It’s about what you leave behind when you move on…
